Quick troubleshooting

Quick troubleshooting

Start here before emailing.

01

Camera access

If the camera is unavailable, open iOS Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Camera, and allow Nordhue. Reopen the app after changing permission.

02

Import and export photos

Import begins from the system photo picker. Exporting to Photos needs add-only permission when you choose that option. You can review Photos access for Nordhue in iOS Settings.

03

Wall detection

Available depth and LiDAR capabilities vary by iPhone model. For a cleaner preview, use even lighting, keep the wall visible, avoid heavy reflections, and move the phone slowly. A photo workflow can help when live detection is limited.

04

Saved projects

Projects are stored locally on this iPhone and do not sync to an account or cloud service. Removing Nordhue also removes its local app data. Export important images before deleting the app.

05

Color and paint estimates

Preview colors can vary with room lighting, camera exposure, wall texture, and screen settings. Paint estimates are planning guides, not professional quotes. Confirm important choices with a physical sample and supplier guidance.

06

A quick reset

Close and reopen Nordhue, confirm the latest app version is installed, and restart the iPhone if a camera or permission state appears stuck. Avoid reinstalling until important local projects are exported.

Help us reproduce it

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Nordhue version, the steps that led to the issue, and a screenshot if it is safe to share. Please do not send private room photos unless they are needed to explain the problem.
